Disclosures
Plain answers about how this site works.
We're a referral service
LakeSinclairRiprap.com connects Lake Sinclair property owners with independent local contractors. We don't place riprap, build or repair seawalls or docks, or install lifts ourselves, and we don't employ the contractors we refer.
How we're paid
Contractors pay us to receive referrals or to advertise on this site. Property owners never pay us anything.
One contractor per request
Each request goes to one contractor who serves your area, not to a list of companies.
Contractors are responsible for their work
The contractor you hire is responsible for their licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, workmanship, and warranties. Any agreement is between you and the contractor. We encourage you to look up any contractor's license on the Georgia Secretary of State's website before hiring.
Calls may be recorded
Calls to our phone number may be recorded for quality and to confirm referrals.
Brands and sources
This site is not affiliated with Georgia Power, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, or any county government. Shoreline and dock rules on this site are summarized from Georgia Power's published shoreline guidelines, web pages and forms, and from the state and county sources each page names. Cost figures come from the national cost guides each page names, with the data year each guide gives, where it gives one. They are general information, not legal advice. Georgia Power's Land Management office, your county, and your contractor's written quote are what count.
